In the spring and summer of 1884 when Andrew's mother was fifteen, Griffin, Georgia was the scene of numerous unidentified aerial phenomena. In June of that year, she was reported missing and was not located for five days at which point she was found at home in her own bed.
Andrew was enrolled to begin coursework at Clark Atlanta University for a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice when his beacon was activated and he went to the Hoagland Institute.
