Jolene’s father, Wayne Baker (1974-2045) was a correctional officer at the Scott County Jail. Her mother, Emma Hayfield Baker (1976-2063) was a secretary at Huntsville Elementary School. Jolene was the oldest of six children.

Jolene was an A- student throughout school. Like her father, she joined the United States Marine Corps immediately upon graduation and was sent to basic training at Parris Island. At the end of her training, she was sent to the United States Southern Command in Miami. On New Year’s Eve 2013, she was sent to the marine squad stationed at the Homestead Air Force Base where she served under Staff Sargent Pauline MacAvoy.

After the collapse of the Homestead super-soldier program, Jolene was among the first marines assigned to the reformed squad. She accompanied sergeant MacAvoy (the only survivor of the incident and only augmented human in the original squad) in hunting down and eliminating the three remaining failed super-soldier test subjects.

She was one of only two females serving under MacAvoy and one of only three in the squad to be recommended by MacAvoy for augmentation. In March of 2014, while she believed she was on a two day leave in Miami, she became the first subject genetically modified at the laboratory in Homestead. Jolene’s initial H.E.R. was 2.458. She ranked highest in speed, agility and recovery

In February of 2014, she was promoted to corporal and in 2016 to sergeant. When her contract ended in 2018, she signed another three year contract and was promoted to Staff Sergeant. Shortly thereafter, when the squad was disbanded, she was assigned as special aide to Lieutenant Pauline MacAvoy, newly appointed marine liaison officer at the Hoagland Institute in Titusville, Florida. After completing a series of classified missions, Baker was field promoted to the rank of Lieutenant as a full officer.

Prior to the closing of the Homestead laboratory, Jolene was given a second genetic modification. It was one of the highest “step-ups” attempted at that point. Her H.E.R. increased to 3.75, topping out the charts on strength, endurance, speed, agility and recovery.

At the end of her third marine contract, in 2020, Jolene retired at lieutenant’s pay. She was hired by the Hoagland Institute’s security department, leading one of the three security detachments and acting as Major MacAvoy’s second-in-command.

After the “DeMarco Incident of December 2021, Jolene was approved for full synthetic implantation. In February 2022, she became the fourth successful full implantation. Her H.E.R. after implantation is 7.083 with a plus1 telekinesis. She topped the chart in endurance, speed, agility and recovery. In May of the same year, the new Lacroix upgrade moved her H.E.R. to 8.097.

It has been learned that Jolene was the second cousin of Tasha Baker of Missouri who presided over the Ozark Alliance.

Jolene perished in combat against the Pleiadeans on Celestra Cay in June of 2023.
