Maxwell’s father, Mark Campbell (1955-2021) was a supervisor at a factory manufacturing brake linings for the nearby Mercedes-Benz plant until his retirement in 2020. His mother, Karen Taylor (1962-2036) worked in admissions at the University of Alabama.
Eager to see more of the world than Tuscaloosa could offer, Campbell joined the United States Air Force and was trained as an electrician. He was assigned to the MacDill Air Force Base where he serviced equipment for the refueling wings. He was given a medical discharge during his second term of service. Campbell was hired by the Hoagland Institute to manage security.
Maxwell did not receive his first genetic modification until he was nineteen. Despite his age, he was felt to be a strong candidate and the Director was eager to find male candidates.
His second modification was conducted in April of 2013. A malfunction of the light-beam control mechanism caused major damage to his liver, spleen and intestines. As he was considered a valuable test subject, he was not terminated. His organs were repaired but he needed a large infusion of Pleiadean synthetic blood which his body then became dependent upon. It was arranged for him to be discharged from the Air Force and hired by the Hoagland Institute.
Maxwell managed security at the Titusville Administrative Complex from 2013-2018. At the time, the security team consisted of two augments and ten non-augments with six of the non-augments being part-time employees. They performed basic on-site security and were unarmed.
After the opening of the Merritt Island facility and the temporary Buena Vista office, security was realigned under Lieutenant MacAvoy into three armed seven person detachments (later, strike teams) and a six person unarmed on-site security team. Maxwell was placed in command of one of the armed detachments later referred to as Strike Team Two.
Campbell disappeared from Celestra Cay in the spring of 2023, and it was assumed he was eaten by the Pleiadeans in their aquatic form.
