Candice Kerr grew up on a working-class street on the north side of Richmond Hill. Her mother was a registered nurse would commonly worked double shifts to pay the family's bills. Her father was a drywall contractor who lived off a workmen's comp claim. While Sadie Kerr worked, Levi Kerr raised Sadie at the dog track. She tagged along with him as he made daily trips to his bookie who worked out of a bar which had a backroom inhabited by women dressed in leather who appeared to her to be more glamorous than her mother. Occasionally, her father would disappear into the back room leaving Candice to eat a tomato sandwich under the supervision of the bartender. Candice found that the newsstand where Levi bought his racing forms had a magazine rack where she could find magazines dedicated to exotic women dressed in leather. By the age of seven, she began to develop a secret obsession.
Candice was one of the early hires at the Merritt Island facility. She met George Roth, an online graphics designer living in Baltimore, in an online chat room. He travelled to Florida and married her, moving his business into the garage of the couple's Titusville home.
