Charles Hoagland served briefly in the Korean War before returning to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point.  He later served in the Viet Nam War where he was widely regarded as a hero.  He was said to have the ear of Presidents Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan.

In 1978, Hoagland volunteered for a secret off the books military project aimed at creating a super soldier.  It was his hope to save future soldiers from the types of battle injuries he had seen in two conflicts.  His DNA was experimented on by the Pleiadean geneticist Rilynntimore.  In 1985, it was found that his DNA was growing unstable and he was light-beamed to the Pleiadean orbital platform and stored in a stasis tank.  His disappearance became one of the greatest mysteries of the twentieth century.
