Christine Walinski was of Polish and Cuban heritage. Her father, Jan Walinski was a detective with the Miami-Dade Police Department. Her mother, Janita Castro worked in marketing for Dadeland Mall.
Christine began coding genetic data under the direction of Ailrini's team in a small office in Miami when she was fresh out of college. The lab at the Homestead Air force Base had not begun performing augmentations and she was light beamed aboard the Orbital Platform regularly for gene editing.
In 2013, she married radio personality Hector Revis. Revis accompanied Christine when she fled to Barrett Base in 2030 during the lizard hunts. The Hoagland Institute hired Revis to create and anchor a podcast about evolving genetics and the world's changing political climate. He worked under the direction of Bianca Bilodeau and the program was billed as being from an "undisclosed location" until 2034 when the existence of Barrett Base was made public.
Revis passed away in 2074, and in 2077 Christine married her longtime friend Kayleigh Wrangle.
