Miriam’s parents, Hector Del Fuego (1974-present) and Tracy Hurns Del Fuego (1974-present) met while serving in the United States Army. She has an older sister, Ruth (1996-present). After military discharge, the couple married and settled in Glendale, CO. They divorced in 2003 and the children lived with their mother who moved to Commerce City.

Miriam’s teachers always noted that she was intelligent, but her grades were poor. She was in trouble regularly in contrast to her sister who had good grades and was popular. After graduation, Ruth enrolled in junior college hoping to become a nurse’s aide, but never attended. Miriam began building a minor criminal record in high school. She was arrested several times for shop lifting, public intoxication of a minor and criminal mischief. In 2016. She was arrested for grand theft auto and was given the choice of state prison or the United States Army.

Miriam was brought aboard the orbital platform in 2011 and given genetic modification with the estimated outcome of a H.E.R. of 2.042. A second modification on the orbital platform in 2014 yielded an unconfirmed H.E.R of 2.5 with the highest reading was in endurance.

After a three-year term of service, Miriam was discharged in 2019 at the Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas. She travelled by bus to Florida, going to Titusville where she was immediately offered a security position at the Hoagland Institute. In 2020, she was placed in charge of one of the institute’s three strike teams.

When Miriam was assigned to the arsenal in Arkansas, she was given a third genetic augmentation with a verified H.E.R. of 3.083. She was given a subliminal knowledge of her augmentations and a homing directive to bring her to the base on the completion of her service.

When she arrived at the Institute, she was given a final upgrade giving her a H.E.R of 4.25. She was placed in the security department and promoted to the leader of strike team three one year later.

In June of 2022, Miriam was given full synthetic implantation.
