Lina’s father, Kaji Ichikawa (1965-2021), was an engineer working for Lockheed-Martin. Her mother, Hinata Ichikawa (1966-2021) was a physical therapist working in the Orlando area. She had three younger siblings. The parents and siblings all perished in a boating accident off the coast of Melbourne, Florida. Lina had just left her parents after having dinner with them in Port Canaveral. Lina has no other family in the United States.
Lina maintained an A average throughout school with a perfect attendance record. She pursued no extra-curricular activities but concentrated solely on academics and had few friendships. The only anomaly in her childhood on March 25, 2007, when she was twelve. The family was riding together in the family car near the father’s place of employment when Kaji pulled over to look at an object in the sky. After a flash of blue light, the family found themselves back in the car but without Lina. The area was searched, and the police were notified of Lina’s disappearance. The parents took the other children home where they found Lina asleep on a living room sofa. The incident was never explained.
In March of 2007, Lina and her siblings were brought onboard the orbital platform for evaluation. Lina was approved for genetic modification. The H.E.R. from her first enhancement was 1.708 with the highest scores in intelligence, cognitives and perception.
After earning her Masters degree, Lina was hired by the Disney Corporation to work in programming animatronics in Buena Vista, Florida. She was an early hire for the Hoagland Institute’s animatronics division and in August of 2020 was put in charge of coding and programming. In November of 2021 when the Buena Vista operations were moved to Titusville and Merritt Island, Lina was put in charge of special projects, coding.
When the Hoagland Institute hired out the AI staff of Disney World during the corona virus epidemic, Lina was hired and sent back to the orbital platform for a second enhancement. Her H.E.R. was raised to 2.667. It was later determined that maintaining operations in Buena Vista was not beneficial and the A.I. staff was moved to Merritt Island and reorganized with Lina placed in charge of coding.
