Brook Keefe was the daughter of a ten-term congressman.  She put in her time working the party line and in 2020 was chosen as Richard Dunbar's running mate.  At the beginning of his term, Dunbar suffered a brain aneurism and resigned making Keefe the first female President of the United States of America.  Keefe won reelection in 2024 winning thirty-two states and an electoral landslide.

In 2025, Keefe was infected with the DeMarco Nanite Virus making her appearance and her metabolic age much younger than her chronological age.  She spent the rest of her term in seclusion.

In 2030, during the nation's lizard hunt, Keefe was allowed to flee to Barrett Base.  After her arrival, she found that she was pregnant.  The baby was named Ainsley Graham after her husband who had remained on Earth.  There had been numerous rumors that Keefe husband Corbin Graham was a homosexual or was infertile and genetic testing showed that he was not Ainsley's father.  Keefe never publicly divulged the child's true father.
