Kimberly’s father, Kenneth Kruze (1936-2007) worked as a site manager for Continental Steel Corporation in the years leading up to the site’s ecological contamination and the company’s 1986 bankruptcy. Her mother, Cathleen Cole (1956-2005), was a local social activist who grew up in a proud Klan family. Her proudest victory was early in the AIDS epidemic when she was instrumental in forcing Ryan White, a hemophiliac who contracted the virus, out of the high school and ultimately forcing the family to move.

Kimberly was the social queen bee of Kokomo High School.  After high school she moved to Chicago to attend Northwester University where she majored in sociology and earned a 4.0 GPA.  She was very involved in student activism earning a large enough reputation that the Center for Women and Gender Studies at the University of Texas recruited her into their graduate program offering her a full scholarship.

In 2008, after receiving a Doctorate in Feminist Theory, she returned to Indiana where she served on the boards of several non-profit organizations.  She became a divisive figure who was at the forefront of lesbian activism and also dismissive of male homosexuals.  By the time the DeMarco Nanite Virus swept the nation, she had become virulently anti-male.

In 2025, she met Justine Corsentino, former head nurse of the medical center at the Hoagland Institute facility and former wife of Doctor Gilbert Betz.  The two became involved and married one year later.  Kimberly learned about the Institute's work and about the existence of the Pleiadeans, Reticulans and Dragonians from Justine.

Kimberly developed the belief that Hoagland's ongoing genetic manipulation and the nanite virus had caused women to evolve into a new distinctive species that was superior to their former male counterparts.  She wrote three books on the topic referring to the supposed new species as homo matronis.  She developed a significant following who called themselves "Cruzers".
