Lynn Lasiter was the daughter of Luissa (Fuentes) Lassiter who was a test subject, as was Luissa's younger sister Aurora. Lynn's father was a Pinellas County deputy. Her mother managed a condo complex in Sarasota.
While Lynn was attending high school, the DeMarco Nanite Virus shut down schools across the country. The United States of America was collapsing as she was graduating from the Florida International University. The following year, FIU did not offer undergraduate classes.
Lynn was hired as the Chief Executive Officer of the reorganized Rouche Corporation when it emerged from bankruptcy. Lynn being named C.E.O. was a condition of her aunt Aurora when Rouche acquired back the pharmaceutical patents she had received in her divorce.
