Juanita went to work at the Tampa Police Department upon graduating from the nationalized police academy in 2042.  She took the Sargeant's exam in 2044.  In 2046, she transferred to the Florida Department of Procreation Enforcement where she was assigned to work under Lieutenant Brian Streeter.  In 2048, she took the Lieutenant's exam and replaced Streeter three months later.  She left the department in 2059, with the highest lethal interaction rate in the state, and took a position in the Miami Homicide Department.  In 2070, she was placed in charge of the department.

In 2076, she was hired by the O.G.A. as an operative and assigned to work under Morris Fletcher.
