Marrika is the daughter and only child of Tyson Hutchins (1955-2020), a distribution manager for Budweiser, and Melenia Dmytro (1971-2031), a Belarusian immigrant and librarian.

Tyson Hutchins had grown up in Baxterville, Mississippi and was six years old at the time two atomic devices were detonated in military tests in the Baxterville Salt Domes.  As a young man, Tyson lived in Flora, Mississippi and on February 10th 1977, in what was a widely reported U.F.O. incident involving several dozen law enforcement officers, he reported that he had been abducted by aliens.  After pressure from black-suited government agents he recanted his story.

Melenia Dmytro arrived in the United States with her parents in 1989 after travelling through Poland.  In December of that year, she began attending motorcycle rallies across the southern states where she won several bikini contests, wet tee shirt contests as well as other events.  She met Tyson Hutchins at the March 1990 Daytona Bike Week.   They were married in June of 1993.  The couple had hoped to have three children, but were unable to conceive again.
