The MacAvoy Line is an extremely limited series. This Pauline unit is a ninth generation model with several experimental augments being tested for future general release.

She is the Security Chief for the colony on Gamma Three in the Nu Tong Sector.  Her duties, as such, were quite simple.  The most common security issues were domestic disputes at the University.

In 2275, Pauline suddenly had to deal with both the "Hamlin Incident" and the opening of the first of the resorts with brought a large number of visitors to the planet.  For the first time, she was exposed to the complexities of the other human occupied worlds.
