Amanda Pelisak grew up in Waterford, Connecticut, the daughter of Robert Pelisak (1978-2041) who worked on the maintenance staff of a sports equipment manufacturer, and Susan (Bono) Pelisak (1974-2038) who worked in waste disposal at the Millstone Nuclear Power Plants.  Susan Pelisak was exposed to dangerous levels of radiation on more than one occasion which may have led to her reoccurring cancer.  She also was witness to numerous UFO sightings over the plant.

Amanda does not appear in the Hoagland Institute's records as ever having had a genetic augmentation, however it is reported that she was unusually strong as a teenager, as well as quite intelligent and extremely outgoing.  These traits appear to have kept increasing as she approached adulthood.

After graduating from high school, Amanda took a job at the Electric Boat plant in Groton where the Navy's nuclear submarines were constructed.  There was a noted correlation between her shifts and unexplained power drains on any nuclear power plants on-site.  There was also a relationship between these power drains and heightened levels of sexual arousal in Amanda.  After two years of this, Amanda had gained a reputation for being more than 'extremely outgoing'.  In 2018, coworker Kevin Jenkins who was attempting to save his marriage to Wanda Cox despite her repeated infidelity, and he brought Amanda home for a sexual threesome.  Amanda and Wanda maintained a two year relationship with Jenkins sleeping on the couch.  During that two year period, the power drains at Electric Boat reached such a critical state that Naval contracts could no longer be filled.
