Proto TK-0001 is an altered clone of Teresa Kwan, created on Zeti Reticuli to be a super-soldier.  She and B-0088 (an Arthur Hamlin variant) were decanted on the same day.  They were pair-mated and went through educational pod training together.  For one year, they never parted company.  After one year, B-0088 was deployed on Earth to replace B-0017.
