Rose’s father, Craig Dunn (1945-2010) was an accountant at CVS corporate offices. Her mother, Grace Pelkey (1965-2029), was a buyer for Stuarts Department Stores before the chain’s demise in 1995. She was then a stay-at-home mother with four children until her husband’s sudden death in a mugging. She then worked as a payroll clerk at a data security company. Rose was the youngest of four children. The Dunn’s oldest two children, Sarah (1990-2007) and Andrew (1992-2006) both died in their teens. Their third child, Joseph Dunn (1994-2032), delivered groceries.

Sarah (TS2005082514) and Andrew (TS#2006062665) Dunn were both test subjects.

After Sarah’s second augmentation, she experienced heightened sexuality. She became sexually aggressive with her longtime boyfriend, Chet Arnold. After he was spent and dehydrated. She was unwilling to stop. It is unclear if she was aware that he died, but when he was unresponsive, she began pleasuring herself furiously until she expired from exhaustion.

Andrew suffered from juvenile cellular collapse after his first genetic modification.  No body was ever recovered; authorities only found a pool of biologic material which was matched to Andrew's DNA.

Rose was evaluated on the orbital platform in April of 2009. Like her two oldest siblings had been previously, Rose was approved. Although Sarah and Andrew had both ultimately failed and perished and Joseph had not been approved, there was no hesitation with Rose’s approval.

After losing siblings in 2006 and 2007 and her father in 2010, Rose went through years of grief. In 2010, she began boxing in a local gym and by 2014, was competing in the New England Golden Gloves Tournament winning the opportunity to compete against men and then defeating them.

A second genetic modification was performed in 2012 while she was in high school. In her first boxing match after the second procedure, as a fifteen year old girl, she seriously injured her opponent, a twenty-four year old woman who had been slated to turn professional that month, ending the woman’s career. Rose continued boxing but learned to hold back. She easily defeated every opponent that summer. In the fall, she began boxing against adult men. She finished the year undefeated.

The following year, Rose tried to enter the New England Golden Glove Competition but as she was a teen aged girl she was not permitted to fight against men. In 2014, the commission running the competition relented and allowed Rose to box. She won but was then denied the chance to move on to nationals.

After the Golden Gloves, Rose began boxing professionally. She took classes in Tae Kwon Do, Krav Maga, Capoeira, Muay Thai and Jujitsu becoming competent in each quickly. She then studied Kenjutsu and Arnis becoming skilled with swords and knives.

Rose was hire by the Hoagland Institute in 2019 and was employed by their security department.

Rose Dunn received a third modification at the Homestead facility in 2015 and a fourth at the M.I.R. in 2018. She was hired by the Hoagland Institute one year later and assigned to Strike Team Three (later referred to as Rapid Response Team Three).
