Tammy Lindon's father was a shift supervisor at the largest gypsum processing facility in the country. Shortly before his retirement, the company went into bankruptcy due to the DeMarco Nanite Virus. When the company reorganized the plant was fully automated. Over ninety percent of the workforce, including Luke Lindon, were officially laid off.
Tammy's mother was a chemist involved in sample testing in one of the veterinary pharmaceutical plants located in Fort Dodge. Kimberly Owens had received a Master's Degree in Atlanta while working as a club influencer for a liquor concern before moving to Fort Dodge and marrying Lindon. The couple had hoped for a second child but were told that Luke Lindon was unable to father any further children.
After learning that Tammy would be their only child, the Lindons doted on her even more than that previously did. Most of her childhood was spent acting out and seeking to discipline. In 2008, at age sixteen, Tammy ran off in the night to Florida for Spring Break. She repeated this one year later. After graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High School, where her classmates voted her "Girl Most Likely to be Spanked", she attended Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida.
