Cheri’s father, Brian Wegman (1938-2020) was a financial auditor for Trinity Health before his retirement. Her mother, Brenda Hester-Wegman (1964-2068) managed bot-automation for MLT. Cheri ha an older sister and an older half-brother. Brian Wegman and his first wife, Rebecca Keenan Wegmen (1940-1976) had a son Lawrence (1967-2032), an inventory manager for BNSF Railroad. Wegman remarried several years after losing Rebecca to cancer. Cheri’s older sister, Lindsey Wegman-Altman (1990-2061), is an operations director at 4 Bears Casino in New Town and her husband Stephen Altman was an accountant at SRT Communications.

After graduating from Minot State University in 2017, where she maintained a 4.0 GPA and captained the volleyball team, Cheri was hired by Northrop Grumman to coordinate logistics for their work at the Minot Air Force Base. In this position, she has direct oversite of the delivery control systems for nuclear payloads.

In 2019, she married Colonel Eugene Huss, commander of the Fifth Bomb Wing and Ninety-First Missile Wing.
