Christina’s father, Ryan Pacholka, was a loan servicing specialist who moved to the Orlando area from south-west Michigan in 2000. His parents had both emigrated to the United States from Slovakia. Her mother, Katerina Koplov was a dermatologist of Russian decent whose family had lived in Belarus. The couple had hoped for a large family, but Christina was their only child.
Christina joined her best friend Talia Miller (GTS#2023022200(D1)), to celebrate Talia’s seventeenth birthday at Talia’s half-sister Suzanne Forke’s (GTS#2012071627) home. Over the weekend, both girls were infected with an early mutation of the DeMarco Virus. After infection, Christina's crush on Talia turned into a dangerous obsession which caused a violent incident in Oviedo, Florida. She was captured and placed a stasis tank. Her parents, teachers and classmates were all detained and debriefed by a re-education team causing her to be forgotten by those who knew her.
