Willow West was born at home in a hot tub at the rooftop penthouse of one of the most expensive properties in the Miami area. Her father, Rock West, came from an old money family which maintained control of West Industries, West Enterprises, West MediaGroup and the West Foundation. Rock West was elected to the Board of Directors of all four entities on his twentieth birthday. In 1985, with the death of his father Alistar West, Rock West became the Chairman of the Board of each of the four.
In 1975 while at the West MediaGroup's film studios in Los Angeles, Rock West met seventeen-year-old aspiring actress Saphire Indigo. Indigo, who was born Eunice Malloy, claimed to be the illegitimate daughter of Charles Manson. However, Manson was imprisoned at the time of her conception and had received no female visitors since his first wife's estrangement. West and Indigo were married on Grand Turk Island in 1976 in a ceremony officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury Donald Coggin.
The West's maintained their primary residence on Fisher Island but traveled extensively. Despite hopes for a large family, Willow was their only child. Willow grew up feeling at home in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Rome and Tokyo. She graduated from Ransom Everglades, the most expensive school in south Florida at age seventeen performing mostly independent study.
In 1988, Willow West was light-beamed to the Pleiadean lab on the orbital platform over Cape Canaveral, Florida where she was given the first round of an early "high-step" augmentation. The early procedure had a very high failure rate with a large number of fatalities. Of the few who survived the tests of the late '80's, Willow was by far the most successful, not only hitting the desired benchmarks, but surpassing them. H.E.R. scores had not yet been created but attempts at translating Pleiadean notes suggest that Willow West far surpassed what was thought to be humanly possible. The Pleiadeans were unable to duplicate her success and lost over one hundred subjects in their attempts to do so.
At age fifteen Willow was assigned a human handler from the Information Containment Department of the O.G.A. Without her parents' knowledge she was given extensive training. By age of seventeen, she was highly proficient in surveillance, infiltration, and the martial arts. The Majestic Twelve made use of her to complete several clandestine operations through direction of the O.G.A.
Willow moved to the rapidly growing Orlando area to place distance between herself and her parents. It was rightly assumed that when in Florida, her parents would not stray out of Miami. While acquiring components for assembling surveillance equipment in Orlando, she made the acquaintance of Kenneth Kaye, a Stereo Hut employee. She persuaded him to set up his own computer network design business which she used as a conduit to create custom electronic gadgetry.
When Willow West discovered she was pregnant, Kenneth Kaye proposed to her with the pledge to raise her child as his own. The couple were married in 1997. While Kaye was unwaveringly devoted to West (who kept her maiden name) and raised the baby, West continued working missions around the globe taking numerous men and women as lovers. The marriage was never consummated.
In December 2013, West recovered the Betz Sphere which was assumed to be of Cygni origin and which, decades after its disappearance had been located in a private collection in Gainesville, Florida. Before West could turn the sphere over to her handler, the super-soldier program in Homestead lost containment. She was forced to leave the sphere locked in the safe of her husband's storefront and depart for Homestead. Immediately after her departure, Kenneth Kaye was attacked in their home by an unknown assailant looking for the sphere.
Willow West returned home in response to a call from the police to find Kenneth hospitalized with three broken vertebrae, a collapsed lung and a severe brain hemorrhage. The daughter, Dianna, had spent the night at a boy's house and there were no witnesses to the attack. Kenneth's injuries all appeared to have been inflicted by a bare-handed assailant and evidence at the scene appeared to show a lone women entering the building.
Willow then devoted the next twenty-one months to seeing to Kenneth's physical therapy and day to day care and to uncovering clues as to who had attacked him. After little attention to her husband for sixteen years, she now rarely left his side. Kenneth died in September of 2015. After this, she became increasingly obsessed with finding his killer. In 2016, the decision was made for her to be tanked. A team including Pauline MacAvoy and Jolene Baker sedated her and she was placed in a stasis tank at the Hoagland Institute.
