Cindy Grierson was the fifth of the eight children of Lori Majury.  Majury's husband at the time, Timothy Grierson, walked out when Cindy was born and seen to be African-American. Her biological father remains unknown.  Cindy was never tested for a Human Enhancement Rating as a child.  She inherited her mother's genetic enhancements and when she contracted the DeMarco Nanite Virus, it is believed her abilities increased greatly.  Cindy's H.E.R. was never scored until 2030.

Cindy was the only one of the Majury children who had aspirations for attending college.  However, she found herself spending her time cleaning up situation caused by her family members, and never had the opportunity to complete her education.  She educated herself and found that she had a sharp legal mind.

Cindy appeared in several AR movies on her mother's subscription website, but her main role was in marketing and customer support.  When half of the family moved to Mars, Cindy remained at Barrett Base with the three Huziers until Amore Foods, founded by Harriet, began receiving unfavorable publicity.  Cindy then travelled to Mars taking a seat on the Amore Food's board and bringing her troubled sister Lindsey with her.
