Travis Huzier and his twin brother David Huzier were born to Lori Majury and her fifth husband, James Huzier as was their older sister Lindsey. They were the youngest of Lori Majury's eight children. James Huzier was killed by Lori Majury in what was alleged to be self-defense less than one week after their birth. Lori Majury raised them with her sixth spouse Katie de Witt while creating a very profitable online adult business which would grow into privaterooms.com.
The family fled to Barrett Base on Luna during the nation-wide lizard hunts just before David's thirteenth birthday. Travis lived the rest of his life on Luna. Although maintenance bots already performed the tasks, Travis was hired as a custodian at the base's gymnasium complex as a means of keeping him occupied.
On Travis's forty-second birthday, he reported to work before his scheduled shift and went to the variable gravity weight room without activating standard light levels. Records show he had set the gravity to lunar standard and used a weight bench with 360 kilos of weight (800 pounds). This would have been equivalent to 45 kilos (100 pounds) at Lunar gravity, which medical records indicate would have been challenging for him. At 06:00 Base Time, Helena Martinez and Maya Star approached the dark weight room and reset gravity to 1.5 X Terra. Travis was found with multiple compound fractures to his arms, several broken ribs, and numerous torn ligaments with the equivalent of 544 kilos (1200 pounds) pressed against his chest. His cardiac and pulmonary systems had collapsed almost immediately at the suddenly increase in gravity. David Huzier was the only family member to attend the memorial service.
