When Lindsey was thirteen, the family was allowed to emigrate to Barrett Base, Luna, and flee the turmoil of a collapsing United States.  As there were only twelve minors on the moon (including the six youngest children of Lori Majury), there was no school.  Lindsey reluctantly followed an independent study program from a syllabus created by Doctor Pamela Peters.

Lindsey had an extensive list of criminal charges filed against her in her time on Luna, all stemming from domestic violence.  She had a strong desire for male companionship, but there were few men in the Barrett Base, and she was larger and stronger than all of them.  Her half-sister, Cindy Grierson, managed to keep Lindsey from anything more than a short confinement. 

When Cindy Grierson took a managerial position with Amore Foods on Mars, Lindsey went with her leaving Luna.
