Harriet Justin was the first of eight children born to Lori Majury.  Harriet's biological father remains unknown.  She was formally adopted by Majury's first husband, Stephen Justin while she was a newborn.  Harriet genetic enhancements were never tested as a child to learn how much she inherited from her mother. When she contracted the DeMarco Nanite Virus, it is believed her abilities increased greatly.  Harriet's H.E.R. was not scored until 2030.

Harriet passed the virus to her girlfriend, Heather Holdeen shortly before the family was allowed to relocate to Barrett Base.  Harriet and Heather's AR movies became the most popular content on Majury's subscription website.  They soon learned that when their pheromones interacted, it created a powerful sphere-of-influence aphrodisiac dispersed as an aerosol.  This was studied by the Hoagland Institute, but the Institute was not able to duplicate the effect.

With a sizeable investment from Marjury, Harriet and Heather used the income they had generated from both their online adult content and from the study of their pheromones, to win the contract to develop the Port of Mars when the colony was officially founded in 2038.  After learning that their pheromone mixture also had a dramatic effect on seed germination and plant growth, the women began a limited side venture which ultimately grew to be Amore Foods.  When they completed the port development contract, their sold the concession to Naomi George for a sizable profit and concentrated on Amore Foods.

The family sold their interest in Amore Foods to the Rouche Corporation for a large profit, before a series of lawsuits against the firm caused its collapse and led to Rouche's bankruptcy.
